On the 23rd and 24th of June 2026, Zurich will host the WEVCA Congress 2026, bringing together presidents, executives and key decision-makers from some of Europe’s leading women’s volleyball clubs.

The event represents an important opprtunity for the European volleyball community to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships and discuss the future development of the sport. Over two days, participants will explore strategic topics ranging from governance and legal matters to fan engagement, commercial growth and innovation within the volleyball ecosystem.

The Congress programme includes discussions on WEVCA’s role within European volleyball, its collaboration with international and national governing bodies, and initiatives aimed at supporting the  sustainable growth of clubs and athletes. Industry experts and guest speakers from leading sports organisations will share insights and best practices on community building, fan engagement, event management and new business models shaping the future of sport.

Among the featured sessions are keynote presentations focused on transforming spectators into loyal fans, leveraging major sporting events to drive growth and visibility, and exploring innovative approaches to club development inspired by emerging sports organisations aroung the world.

The WEVCA Congress 2026 will also provide valuable networking opportunities, allowing club representatives, partners and stakeholders to connect, exchange experiences and build new collaborations that will contribute to the continued growth of women’s volleyball across Europe.
